George V. Blaha is the CEO of The BOLI Group, and one of the most respected authorities in the Bank- and Insurance Corporate Company-Owned Life Insurance (BOLI and ICOLI) markets. For more than 30 years, George has helped shape how financial institutions and corporations use institutional life insurance as a strategic asset—guiding clients with clarity, precision, and a conservative approach that has stood the test of time.
Under George’s leadership, The BOLI Group has become a market leader in the design, implementation, and management of BOLI and ICOLI programs for banks and insurance institutions nationwide. His depth of regulatory and structural expertise allows clients to navigate the OCC pre- and post-purchase process with confidence, while his pioneering work in ICOLI has positioned the firm as market leaders in helping corporations align executive benefits, strengthen capital positions, and optimize long-term financial performance.
Before founding The BOLI Group in 2007, George served as Managing Director at Clark Consulting, where he was among the firm’s top consultants and helped shape best practices still in use across the industry today. Known for his steady leadership and deep technical mastery, he remains a sought-after speaker and advisor, frequently invited to present to financial institutions, carriers, and professional associations nationwide.
George holds the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation and FINRA Series 6 and 63 licenses. A former board member of the Advanced Association of Life Underwriters (AALU), he continues to support its efforts in Washington, D.C. to protect and advance the life insurance industry.
A graduate of John Carroll University with a degree in finance, George and his wife enjoy traveling, fishing, and playing tennis.
